Harvey Oyer Enjoys the ‘Honor of a Lifetime’

I love visiting schools to talk about The Adventures of Charlie Pierce and share more about the history behind these compelling stories. This morning, I had the honor of a lifetime making an author visit to my daughter’s school. When she introduced me to come on stage, it was one of the greatest moments I’ve experienced as an author. These books are not only important to me, but they represent a significant part of Florida and U.S. history that I love sharing with younger generations. Today reminded me why I wrote these books, and I’m so grateful for the schools, parents, and young readers that continue to support them.
